Le guide du Pays (The Country Guide) was created following the residency Le Pays (The Country). It is a project by seven artists, landscape architects, and agronomists who explore, question, and mark the imaginary borders of a new "Country" by creating a path that crosses, during summer 2021, the municipalities of Bécherel, Cardroc, Les Iffs, Longaulnay, Miniac-sous-Bécherel, Plouasne, and Saint-Pern.
The guide contains the walking score: map, trail plan, it catalogs the plants and tells stories related to the places. It records the various artistic proposals developed for these landscapes: performances, exhibitions, creations, songs, photographs.
Designed by Séverine Lorant from Beaux Diables workshops and co-published by the Maison du livre Bécherel, Le guide du Pays was printed in 200 copies by the Rennes Metropole printing house.
