Euridice Zaituna KALA est une artiste-enseignante mozambicaine, dont l'œuvre se concentre sur les métamorphoses culturelles et historiques, ses manipulations et ses adaptations. L'artiste reproduit le vocabulaire visuel des archives historiques pour en révéler ses subjectivités, mais aussi ceux qu'ils ont invisibilisé. Elle questionne l'appropriation des corps noirs par leur représentation dans les archives ; mais plutôt que de s'emparer de leur histoire, elle tente de réaffirmer leur existence. Son travail prend la forme d'installations, de performances, d'images, d'objets et de livres.
Née en 1987 à Maputo, Mozambique.
Vit et travaille à Maison-Alfort.
