Initiated in 2017 by the art centers Passerelle in Brest and La Criée in Rennes, Territoires EXTRA develops around three areas of work: supporting artistic emergence in Brittany through production and distribution; building an artistic project in connection with Breton territorial actors; embedding artistic emergence in an international dynamic. Territoires EXTRA takes the form of research and/or creation artist residencies and is accompanied by specific mediation work, in order to strengthen the links between audiences, local partners, institutions and artistic projects, with a focus on transmission and awareness around the presence of artists in the territories.
